WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO

Quite simply, we love the Twin Tiers and the regional areas in which Pennsylvania's Route 6 and New York State Route 17 traverse, and we just want to tell people about it!  With so many diverse places, things to do and see, people to meet, chances to unwind, and other factors (such as a one-stop point of regional information), why not build this website?.  We are working nearly constantly to bring together all kinds of information from around the Twin Tiers Corridors so readers can learn about you---about the businesses, jobs, economic development, tourism and other great opportunities our region has to offer!  We cover 23+ counties in New York and Pennsylvania and over 30,000 square miles to bring attention to the Corridors and all it has to offer.  

We promote business and tourism along the Twin Tiers Corridors for many reasons, some of which are listed here:

• We researched diligently and found the Corridors to be joinly under-represented as a whole on the web.  Only certain stretches of highway were actively promoted,  and other areas such as smaller towns weren't adequately included in those efforts. 
• Other research garnered from our study showed that visitors to the region wanted a one-stop point in which to get their information to make informed decisions about when and where to travel.

OUR MISSION

Twin Tiers Business.com is a grass-roots effort to promote the Twin Tiers region for the purpose of attracting individuals, families, businesses, industries, commerce, economic development and tourism for Pennsylvania State Route 6 and New York State Route 17.  These two scenic and historic highways run parallel east and west across the two states and offers endless opportunities for both visitors and residents alike.  Nestled among awesome places within the Catskills, Pocono, Endless and Allegheny Mountains, the Twin Tiers Corridors hosts something for everyone.

Pennsylvania State Route 6 counties featured are:  Erie, Crawford, Warren, McKean, Potter, Tioga, Bradford, Susquehanna, Wyoming, Lackawanna, Wayne and Pike.

New York State Route 17 counties featured are:  Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, Allegany, Steuben, Chemung, Tioga, Broome, Delaware, Sullivan, Orange and Rockland.

While we feature the counties in which the Twin Tiers Corridors traverse, we also extend our reach beyond the regional area to include events and other opportunities of interest to our readers.

Membership opportunities are not restricted to just these counties.  We welcome representation for businesses and organizations that serve the Twin Tiers Corridors!
