The overall mission of our agency is to raise visibility and build awareness of the Twin Tiers Corridors of Pennsylvania State Route 6 and New York State Route 17 via the worldwide web.  We strive to accomplish this mission via a low cost membership-driven environment in which individuals, businesses, agencies and other organizations can participate. 

Many individuals have asked us, "what is the website all about?"  In a nutshell, our website serves the public as a forum from which readers can draw information about regional events, business and training information, member business news, places to stay, eat and shop, jobs and much more along the Corridors.

The Case For Consideration of Membership:

Due to the uniqueness of our work and mission, coupled with our "newness" to the worldwide web, we ask potential members to bear with us as we grow our agency and develop our project to promote the Corridors.  As with any new project, many initiatives take time, teamwork, consideration, much effort and financial means to see its eventual fruition.  As such, we partner with as many community agencies (tourism promotion agencies, Chambers of Commerce, etc.) without charge who reach out to us (and also by invitation from us) to the greatest extent possible to bring all kinds of free informational resources together for our readers, so they can learn about what the regional areas have to offer.  The invitation to partner with us is open and ongoing as we move forward in the overall development of our agency and work.

We ask that you view what we have to offer as an enhancement to your current marketing plan.  It is not meant for us to exist merely as a "competitor" to the traditional means of business marketing and advertising.   In fact, we strongly advocate for and promote the above referenced types of agencies and associations (as noted on our Business Resources page and do it free of charge) because they serve an important purpose....the individual communities and areas they promote.  Conversely, in our work, we promote--collectively--the contiguous counties along the New York-Pennsylvania border, of which all these individual communities are a part of.  We believe that open partnerships foster a much more positive and productive environment in which to reach a common goal than it is to compete.

Frequently we are asked about site analytics, or there is an expectation of an instantaneous quad-zillion hits back to listed websites.  Again, we ask potential members to bear in mind that due to the newness of our site, size and scope of our project, and other factors,  we cannot guarantee how many "hits" will be garnered by becoming a member.  Currently, it is our mindset to provide as much information as possible, to as many people as possible, in the timeliest fashion as possible, on a cost effective platform via the web within our capabilities at this stage of the project.  Like any other business, we must work within our financial means in order to survive.  It is our highest hope to become as well-branded as any as other agency, bearing in mind that it takes much, much time and resources.

In speaking of financial means for businesses and their owners, please know that we realize what struggles the current national economic has brought down upon you.  It has forced many businesses to downsize or close and also has changed the way in which families must live.  Thus, in the spirit of business survival, we offer potential members a low cost intital membership and renewal rate.  We work with each business personally and within their budgetary means to become a member.  Inability to pay does not preclude any interested business from membership.  We want to stress that point highly, as we feel it is more important for your business to survive than for us, as an agency, to make a few dollars!!  One would be hard pressed to find an agency or company with such a business philosophy as this one.  However, that is the way it is here at Twin Tiers Media Solutions.  We are more interested in you as people and in your continued success.  Working together as friends, neighbors, business partners and communities is what it is all about at the end of the day, isn't it?
